Reiki is a hands-on natural healing technique. The term comes from the Japanese words “rei”, which means universal, and “ki”, which means vital energy that flows through all living beings. Reiki, used throughout the world in places like hospitals and hospices, was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. During the session, it is identified where there are blockages or disharmonies in the patient’s energy both in the body and in the aura and chakras, working to unblock and balance those areas. It provides intense relaxation and well-being both physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
